Installation of the structure

All employees of GLASSO installation teams undergo mandatory training and annual certification. Teams are formed in such a way that the total experience of installers is at least 1,000 installed windows.

Professional installation – guarantee of perfect operation of the window!

The service life of PVC windows is 40 years or more but only high-quality installation provides them with high-performance properties.

  1. Original window sill plank.

"GLASSO Economy" installation technology:

  • in the opening the window is attached to anchor (metal) plates or anchors (expansion anchor studs in a metal "jacket");
  • originally window sill plank has three chambers (voids inside the window sill, which prevent it from freezing in winter);
  • two tapes are glued at the bottom of the window, covering the mounting seam from the outside and from the inside of the room, waterproofing it and preventing drafts between the window and the window sill.

"GLASSO Standard" installation technology:

  • full installation cycle "GLASSO Economy";
  • outer seam around the perimeter of the window is glued with a moisture-proof tape to create an optimal effect of waterproofing the seam, provide good weathering of water vapor, and close the foam from harmful ultraviolet radiation;
  • inner seam around the perimeter of the entire window is glued with an insulating tape, creating a high vapor barrier of the mounting seam and protects the surface of internal jambs against moisture;
  • in the glazing of balconies and loggias, regardless of the type of installation between the canopy and the concrete floor, we use a butyl cord, enabling to avoid water leakage during rains and drafts in windy weather.

"GLASSO Professional" installation technology:

  • full installation cycle "GLASSO Economy";
  • outer seam around the perimeter of the window is glued with a moisture-proof tape, creating an effect of waterproofing the seam, providing good weathering of water vapor, and closing the foam from harmful ultraviolet radiation;
  • waterproofing mastic is applied on the surface of the wall of the window opening, then the window opening is glued around the perimeter with heat and sound insulation tape;
  • inner seam around the perimeter of the entire window is glued with an insulating tape, creating a high vapor barrier of the mounting seam and protects the surface of internal jambs against moisture;
  • this installation technology enables to repeatedly increase the service life of the construction foam, heat and sound insulation functions of your window, and your home, apartment or office in general.
